The play
Two travelers are trapped in the train station. Their suitcases open and four fairy tales come alive. This show is a narration of fairytales combined with the usage of several objects and puppets and many other surprises.
The storytellers dress up and “jump” into tales, while viewers participate and everything ends with a magical rain. The ‘Hocus Pocus’ team presents a show for those who love fairy tales,mixing up several techniques. The tales are presented by Tourtoglou Theodosia and Stamati Vaggelio with the valuable help of Nafsica Katsikea.
The team
“Hocus Pocus” team has its base in Thessaloniki and has so far cover a long and creative path in the puppetry world. They have been using various techniques and materials for their performances. They spesialize in Black Theater techniques and in fairy-tale narration.
Having the same vision with other two puppet theater groups, “TIK-NIK” and “Nevrospaston” they have created a Social Co-operative named “Kouklotopia”. Their collaboration started after they had succeedingly co-organized Puppet Festivals in the city of Thessaloniki and the city of Kavala.
