The theatrical performance titled: ‘The Salvagers: Swim or Die’, is based on and inspired by ‘The Salvagers’, the nautical short story by the great author from Skiathos, Alexandros Papadiamantis.
In essence, it is an entirely different reading and adaptation of Papadiamantis’ short story, combining words and live music with the choreographed swimming movements of the SWIM OR DIE Group, as well as the alternation of natural daylight with on-stage lighting.
The performance combines literature with dramatic narration and movement with athleticism.
