CHILDRENS' THEATRE

STELLA MICHAILIDOU: ISADORA DUCK

A small duck that lives in Swan Lake dreams of becoming a ballerina even though she is the worst student in class. When her teacher, Mr Cou-de-piet, tells her to leave the classroom, Isadora wanders around despondently, until she slowly starts to believe in herself and discovers her own unique dance.  A free dance that is in perfect harmony with nature, without the limitations of ballet. A dance that allows her to express her true feelings, that helps her overcome her fear, loneliness, and difficulties.
Swans, ducks, seagulls, blackbirds, and nightingales tell us a tender yet harsh adventure of self discover, in which ballet and modern dance have a place of honour.
