THE WIND ORCHESTRA OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC SCIENCE & ART: WHEN WILL A SPRING COME... (POTE THA ERTHI MIAN ANOIXI...)

Organizer: THESSALONIKI CONCERT HALL IN COLLABORATION WITH LABORATORY OF WIND ENSEMBLES OF DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC SCIENCE & ART OF UNIVERSITY OF MACEDONIA

In accordance with the recent regulations, spectators are required to present:
i) Vaccination certificate issued by a certified authority or
ii) Certificate of recovery from the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection issued by a public authority or a certified laboratory or
iii)
Self-test taken in the last 24 hours for children aged from 4 to 17
In addition they should show:
their ID or driver's license or passport or any other proof of identification

All spectators are required to wear face masks throughout their stay in the Thessaloniki Concert Hall

The first part will encompass the “Efchi Ikitirios” by Anastasios Giannopoulos in its premiere performance, as well as the well-known “Cypriot Rhapsody” by Nikos Astrinidis.
The second part includes poetry set to music created by national and contemporary poets such as R. Feraios, D.Solomos, A. Valaoritis, K. Krystallis, G. Themelis, Ch. Plakonouris for the celebration of the 200 years since the outbreak of the Greek Revolution of 1821, composed by Athanasios Zervas
Moreover, compositions by Pedro Iturralde and Artie Shaw will be heard in the concert.
