EFI BIRBA: DON QUIXOTE, BOOK 2, CHAPTER 23

Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote is a literary and philosophical triumph. In the hands of director Efi Birba, his literary work becomes the springboard for producing pictorial images and actions. In her work image is crucial, defining the dramaturgical axis of the play. In this play, we watch a sequence of images and actions extracted from Cervantes' great literature in a non-linear narrative that interacts with the warm philosophical areas of the work, idealism, wandering, silence, relationships, faith, immortality. The materiality of the word and its relation to the performance is an area of research of the upcoming work on the Don Quixote literary corpus.
